High Stakes Poker has done a lot of things in its two decades on air. It gave us Dwan's bluffs, Sammy Farha's unlit cigarette, and more seven-figure pots than any show in television history. One thing it has never done: broadcast live, every single day, for a full week.

That changes August 25. PokerGO is running High Stakes Poker live from its Las Vegas studio for seven consecutive days, August 25 through 31, with CoinPoker on board as presenting sponsor for the entire stretch. It's the first time in the show's history the format goes wall-to-wall live rather than the edited episodes fans grew up on.

The Lineup So Far

Three names are confirmed, and they tell you roughly what kind of week this will be.

Andrew Robl headlines. He's spent years as one of the most respected regulars in the biggest cash games running, the kind of player who shows up when the stakes stop being theoretical. Rick Salomon joins him, a man who has never met a pot he considered too large. And Alejandro Lococo, CoinPoker's ambassador, takes the third confirmed seat, which puts the sponsor's name directly in the action rather than just on the graphics package.

More players and the daily broadcast times will be announced before the opening session on August 25. Given the show's history, expect the remaining seats to fill with a mix of nosebleed regulars and personalities who make the table talk worth the subscription on its own.

"High Stakes Poker has always been about bringing together the biggest personalities and highest stakes in the game," said PokerGO CEO Brent Hanks. "Seven straight days of live High Stakes Poker is something we've never done before, and we're excited to have CoinPoker alongside us as presenting sponsor as we deliver what should be an incredible week of action for poker fans."

Why Live Matters

The edited episode format was always High Stakes Poker's secret weapon. Producers could cut the folds, keep the cooler hands, and turn a twelve-hour session into forty minutes of highlights. Going live strips that safety net away. Viewers get the whole thing: the grinding small-ball stretches, the table dynamics building over hours, and the moments when a pot suddenly gets very expensive with no warning and no edit.

For cash game fans, that's the appeal. Tournament streams live and die by the payout structure. Live cash is pure: every chip on the table is real money someone brought, and nobody's playing for a trophy. Seven straight days of that is a genuine experiment in whether the most iconic cash game brand in poker can carry a real-time spectacle.

The CoinPoker Angle

The sponsorship timing isn't accidental. CoinPoker just wrapped Battle of Malta Online, which paid out more than $35 million across 764 tournaments and set a new concurrent player record for the platform. Its Global Online Poker Championship kicks off August 23, two days before the High Stakes Poker week begins, carrying a $50 million guarantee, and the site's new Daily Dollar tournament gives micro-stakes players a $1 shot at a $1,000 daily guarantee, bumped to $5,000 on Sundays.

In other words, the crypto poker room is spending August making noise at both ends of the stakes spectrum, and planting its flag on poker's most recognizable cash game show is the loudest move yet. CoinPoker branding will run throughout the broadcasts and the promotional content around them, with Lococo's seat tying the partnership to actual cards in the air.

What's Next

PokerGO streams High Stakes Poker live daily from August 25-31 out of the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Full lineups, stakes, and broadcast times land in the coming days. If the week delivers even one pot worthy of the show's highlight reel, it'll have been worth clearing your calendar for.
